Designed for the Etherea Collection in our Westchester, NY studio, this is truly a fashion forward piece. This extravagant lapis lazuli jewelry exudes luxury and style. It makes such a dramatic statement, it would look best paired with a monochrome top; when worn with white, it takes on a nautical look.

Lapis has been worn by royalty and revered since ancient Egypt. It is known as the purity stone, helpful for promoting truth and banishing negative emotions. It the traditional birthstone for Libra and planetary stone for Capricorn and Aquarius. 

This piece is composed of lapis slabs that are interspersed with tiny silver tubes. These silver accents pick up the silvery pyrite and white calcite flecks and striations that naturally texturize the intense blue stones. The front of the necklace features two strands that create a bib of overlapping and nesting gems. The body of the necklace tapers in the back to hammered over-sized silver plated chain.

The necklace is finished at 21" with an oversized silver toned pewter hook and eye clasp.
